Ivan G’Vera joined "Days of Our Lives" as the dry-humored servant Ivan Marais in December 1991.

Born in Prague, G’Vera moved to the United States in 1980. He made his American-television debut portraying an international bank robber on the prime-time series "Hunter." G’Vera later appeared on "Murphy Brown," "Knots Landing" and "General Hospital." His feature-film credits include "The Hunt for Red October" and "Dive." In his spare time, G’Vera enjoys writing and playing soccer and volleyball.

His birthday is April 1.
